OT: FALSE FLAG THEATER UPDATE, CASSIDY STAY EDITION The Isla Vista Elliot Rodger "I can't get laid" event was fairly unbelievable. Maybe DHS is getting lazy in their psy ops, or they just don't care, or they feel like they can get away with anything.
Here we have Cassidy Stay, who supposedly survived the shooting of her family in Spring, Texas, by pretending to be dead. She supposedly was shot in the finger and grazed in the head.
Within 72 hours, she's out of the hospital, lookign great and confident, speaking before a crowd of 400, smiling, giving the "hook 'em, Horns" hand sign, quoting Harry Potter, with everyone wearing Sandy Hook-style ribbons, and saying that her family is in a better place. It's just bizarre. I'd be catatonic for 10 years, maybe the rest of my life.
The low-speed car chase was also ridiculous, with the police not even taking cover as the vehicle finally stopped.

This is a lip-synched performance of the 1970 Bert Bacharack Hal David song performed on Soul Train by the Fifth Dimension with Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis.
First of all note that Marilyn's diction is perfect and precise. Her pronounciation of every word is purposeful and heartfelt. At that time she was in her prime - youthful with puffy lips, smooth skin and full jet black hair. Her mouth opens repeatedly so wide that you can count the fillings and see the dental work on the back row of her teeth. It's amazing.
Her singing style is so precise and formal that it doesn't lend itself to many songs, but this song is perfect for her. The instrumentation of brass horns, etc. of the era is moving. It is like so many of the Bacharack/David songs which evoke deep feelings by conveying the desperation of a woman in unrequited love. These are ballads but the twist is showing the depth of feeling through the pain of loss, and from the woman's perspective.
Popular culture at it's best. This was also the year that other outstanding groups topped the charts with mature ballads. David Gates and Bread, The Carpenters, and even Carol King's "Tapestry" album were icons of this time. All were of course building on the popular formats of earlier sixties artists such as Herb Alpert, Dionne Warwick, Dusty Springfield, and other artists using ballads composed by Jimmy Webb such as Glenn Campbell and Johnny Mastro....
As books are often mentioned on here, wondered about anyone's take on two books I have read 'Day after Roswell' by Corso and 'Bond of Secrecy' by Saint John Hunt. One I am thinking of buying is 'Spyhunter' by Michael Shrimpton, but it is £25 so would like a 'heads-up' on it.
Day After Roswell is untrue. Corso is a liar who used to cook up false accusations that CIA was full of communists .Eisenhower threw him out of the NSC and ended his career because of his lies.
Anyone who would believe that the artifacts of a crashed UFO would be put into a file cabinet and then forgotten is stupid.
The truth about the Roswell crash is that the crafts and occupants were studied very intensely and stored very carefully.
Howard Hunt claimed in court that he had nothing to do with the Kennedy assassination, then when he was very ill he claimed otherwise. His story partly comports with the facts but other aspects of it do not. It's true that LBJ was the first actor in the conspiracy, and then got Harvey and Meyer involved as well as Morales... But the idea that the shooting team were the Corsicans is untrue, and indicates that Hunt knew who the actors were but wasn't involved enough to know who the shooters were, and simply added that element when he saw it on television.
Hunt tried selling his story to the media and asked for five million dollars to do so.
This is the kind of shit he pulled on Nixon when he implied he'd testify against him if he wasn't paid his hush money.
Unfortunately Hunt was a right wing hypocrite like most right wing people. He wasn't really loyal or principled but was a narcissist.
His kids are really fucked up and poor St.John has lived out of motels dealing drugs most of his life.
Hunt was a spoiled rich kid, a guy who spent the depression traveling around the Caribbean playing with a swing band. He always sought out fun and self enjoyment. But the CIA didn't pay enough for the style he was used to, and even his wife's salary from CIA added to his own wasn't enough. He never saved any money and lived paycheck to paycheck and was always insecure....

Regarding Hunt he seemed plausible in the Ventura vids, nothing to gain at that point. I became confused whether the Corsican provided the explosive head shot or from another source the guy with the hat and exotic gun.
St.John is just a broke, almost homeless Dude making the most out of what his father did, which was to give St.John this story to sell.
It was a money thing.
But that's no to say Hunt wasn't involved. He lost his case in court when he claimed he wasn't. He was involved but not in the manner he claimed. He was exaggerating just a bit.
What's at the beginning of his tape to St.John he says he was brought in because "I had gained a reputation for honesty.."
Now that's a laugh.
Truth to tell they probably left him out of the nitty gritty because he was a bullshiter.
