  1. Dear me doesn't make for pleasant reading!! Wonder what your thoughts are behind his sheer cruelty from your professional experiences dealing with such people?

  2. There was one german officer in concentration camp who had, while he was looking at piles of dead bodies, one cigarette, while his hands was starting to treble... Why? Because that gentleman for first time in his life finally experienced orgasm...

  3. Why the hell would Zamperini "forgive" this person? That's a strange reaction for a POW of the Japanese.

The POWs I've met from Japanese camps had a viseral hatred of all asians, and couldn't stand being around anyone who was asian.

    I think that's a natural reaction.

  4. I cannot believe that not one of the survivors, didn't go after these people. Especially Watanabe who was living in relative luxury. Or their sons or daughters for that matter, pursued them as Simon Wiesenthal did relentlessly...it could become your lifes work. As you visited each one, you could send the newspaper clippings to the next on the list, I think they would find that quite, interesting.

  5. I meant the POW'S sons and daughters going after them, not going after the War criminals children!
